So my phone kept beeping a missed message. I share my office with my Mom and apparently the beeping was bugging her and she started hitting buttons on my phone (She’s that classic Mom who can’t use electronics) but of course this would be the time when she actually clicked on the text and read it: “No U suck – I eat” There’s a reason we’re friends, we are both super intellectuals.
She told me I had a text when I got back and left it at that. I didn’t realize she had actually read it… Until today… Six days later…
when she walked up to me today and said “That was Gross”
I gave her a blank stare… “What’s gross?”
“That Text you got!”
It all clicked into place… It took her an entire week to figure out what he meant!
Being the wonderful daughter that I am, I started laughing so hard I almost peed my pants, then I called all my siblings to share the story!
I swear I love my Mom, she cracks me up!

My Mom can’t even delete the messages on the answering machine!
My Mom doesn’t even know what a ‘mouse’ is! Thankfully, she stays away from all electronics and technical gadgets!!
Your Lucky, Mine LOVES the computer…. but every three minutes I get a call “How do you do this?” Eek!
